Our Company Story
The Card Company started in 1999 and fast became a leading supplier of Personalised Charity Christmas Cards and Calendars.
In our first year, we 'put a toe in the water' and hand delivered just 2000 brochures, mostly locally. By the following year, we were mailing 30,000 brochures!
With the growth in the internet, we were pleased to launch our website in 2006. The following year, we also added our online ordering facility, which has proved extremely successful.
As the company continued to grow, we were conscious that we needed more space too. So, we were delighted to find suitable, larger premises in the centre of Cardiff in April 2008.
Christmas 2011 also brought exciting new changes. We launched our '2011 Festive Collection' which brings with it new designs, new typeface and greeting choices and a whole wealth of new charities to support. We were confident that this new range was going to be a complete success with our customers and we are delighted to say that it's success has exceeded all our expectations. So, building on it's success, we are really looking forward to launching this year's 'Festive Collection'.
Due to further expansion and strategic direction the decision was made to relocate the company to Bristol. We were delighted to find suitable premises in Bristol in July 2017.
Over the years, we have been lucky to have amazingly loyal customers - many even dating back to that very first Christmas in 1999! So, we would like to say a very special 'thank you' to all our clients, especially those whom we have grown to know so well over the years - we can't believe how quickly Christmas comes round each year, and we look forward to catching up with all your news very soon!
